Size-zero race: Rimi Sen runs in the opposite direction
Yes, this true…. When everyone else is in a race to attain size-zero, glamorous Rimi Sen chooses to do just the opposite. She is all set to play an extremely obese woman in an upcoming comedy by director Tigmanshu Dhulia. The movie to be shot in London would feature Govinda as a conman and Rimi as a fat, flabby girl who has a crush on him.
The good news for the admirers of Rimi’s perfect curves is that the gorgeous lady would not be really putting on any weight for the role. It will be the magic of prosthetics, bodysuits, and layers of make-up which will make her look fat.
Tigmanshu was earlier apprehensive if Rimi would like to go in for such a makeover given the sexy image she has on screen. However, while shooting his film Shagird – in which Rimi plays a journalist – Tigmanshu tossed the idea to Rimi and the actress was game for it.
“She was very sporting and instantly said yes,†Dhulia says.

Priyadarshan's films work only for him: Rimi
After Hungama, Kyon Ki and Garam Masala..how come you’re not doing Priyadarshan’s films anymore?Priyadarshan is a superb director. He works hard on making his films look good. Most of his films are successful but the success doesn’t percolate down to his actors. His films work only for him. I haven’t got anything out of his films. His hits haven’t given me any sort of a boost. That’s why I prefer to be with directors like Milan Luthria who work equally on their actors and the film.

‘Golmaal 2’ ready for take-off
That the producers of GOLMAAL, Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd., are planning to start GOLMAAL 2 is known to all and sundry. But here’s the latest on the sequel…GOLMAAL 2 will be directed by the same director [Rohit Shetty] and feature the same four actors [Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi] in principal roles. But unlike GOLMAAL, which featured only one leading lady [Rimi Sen], GOLMAAL 2 will feature as many as five heroines. GOLMAAL 2 will be scripted by Rumi Jaffrey, who has penned many comedies in the past [Neeraj Vora had penned the script of GOLMAAL]. “We have okayed the script,” Denis Selarka of Ashtavinayak reveals. Shooting of GOLMAAL 2 will begin in January 2007 and “we plan to release the film in July 2007, on the same date as GOLMAAL, hopefully,” Denis adds.
